From its launch at the Lake Independence Public Library to regional recognition and international library shelves, Dream Powers continues to inspire children, families, and communities across languages and borders.
Belize National Library Service and Information System (BNLSIS) – Donation & Partnership
As part of Quiet Collab’s 12-part Dreams to Reality Launch Series, the official launch of Dream Powers was held in collaboration with BNLSIS at the Lake Independence Public Library (LIPL). At the event, one Spanish edition and one inaugural edition were donated to BNLSIS. BNLSIS later placed what was, for us, a landmark order of 100 copies — 50 in English and 50 in Spanish — expanding access to children across Belize in both languages.
Hybrid Launch – Lake Independence Public Library
The Dream Powers book launch was a hybrid event hosted at the Lake Independence Public Library. Locally, Standard 3 students from St. Luke’s Methodist Primary School joined in the celebration, alongside participants from across Belize. Guests also joined virtually from Jamaica, Guyana, Honduras, Panama, Canada, Barbados and the UK — marking Dream Powers’ multilingual and global reach.
Morning Show – Greater Belize Media (GBM)

Karryn Dawson and her daugther, Zyrah Noralez (Youth Contributor), shared the vision of Dream Powers on Open Your Eyes (OYE), GBM's Morning Show, highlighting how stories can spark imagination and hope in children.

Karryn Dawson and her daughter, Zyrah Noralez appeared on Channel 7’s Sunup Show. As the first reader and youth contributor, her daughter’s feedback shaped the confidence and direction of Dream Powers — proof that young voices matter.
Turning Point – Trinity Methodist School
At Trinity Methodist School’s Literacy Day, Karryn Dawson served as emcee during a multilingual celebration of learning. This event became a turning point in the journey of Dream Powers, providing the confidence and connection to move the project forward toward its official launch.
Barbados National Library Service
Dream Powers reached the wider Caribbean when copies were presented to the Barbados National Library by fellow author and entrepreneur, Fatima Gould (Green Curtain Organization), a Bajan-Canadian writer of Over the Wall.
